Giving Thanks
This year has been amazing for me creatively, and I hope it has been for you too. From enjoying the company of coworking on stream, to meeting so many other game developers at events, I just want to say: Thank you.

Thank you for inspiring me, supporting me, and keeping me going. TORSO TENNIS is not a solo-developed game, I couldn’t do it without the love and support of so many amazing people. And so, this is my invitation to you: think about these people in your own life and thank them!
A huge TORSO TENNIS update
The TORSO TENNIS Demo has gotten another major update last month: The SPOOKY update.

The Spooky Update includes a frighteningly large amount of new content in the Demo. New Limbs, New Bosses, and new Offensive Play options with RIPs. Tattoos are now FREE at the end of each week and you also get the option to tear limbs off of opponents that you defeat!
I started posting some short videos again, here’s one of my favorite recent ones about a new Tattoo I added into TORSO TENNIS:
See you at an upcoming festival?
TORSO TENNIS will be attending TWO upcoming events on the US East Coast. I’m so excited to share the game with you all and see your reactions IN PERSON to some of the new things I’ve snuck into the game.
Oak City Indie Games - December 7th, Raleigh NC
MAGFest - January 23-26, National Harbor, MD

LOOK AT THAT EVENT ART!!! It features TORSO TENNIS in the center, but also another project of mine built into the composition of the piece. I’m so proud I could cry! Thanks to the artist “Sluggo” who you might recognize as “Slugnoramus” in Twitch chat.
The next few weeks:
I'll be live on Twitch throughout most of the month of December (usually Monday/Wednesday/Friday mornings around 8am Eastern Time) finishing up the game and getting ready for launch!
As always, join the Discord to leave feedback and stay up to date on development. You can also respond directly to this email if you’d like to get in touch with me.
From the Community
We do a lot of progress sharing on the stream and on discord. I love to see people who join the coworking streams hit major milestones, so here are a few of those:
Arpeggiatura is working on a game featuring all of their fantastical 3D creatures ( and has been posting some very colorful art works!)

I had my first ever “prize-winning” game jam entry in a game jam. For Fox Hollow Jam 3, I submitted a light-controlled game featuring a custom arduino-driven controller: FIND FROWNY

Pixelated is making some incredible chiptune covers:
Ben from Battered Lute Studios just launched Lumina Rush - a speed and momentum platformer. AND Two Nerdy Nerds released Supurr Cat Cafe! I covered these games in my recent Indie Spotlight Video:
This video is 45 mins, so maybe put it on and chill while you’re cooking or cleaning up dishes during this holiday week if you are interested in these games.
Thanks so much for reading the newsletter and for your support
<3 Michael
