I’ve been hard at work making a demo to show at Oak City Indie Games Showcase this weekend, and MAGfest Indie Videogame Showcase in January. If you’re gonna be at those events, come say hi! The game itself is a wacky little Adventure/Mystery/Deckbuilder, but I’ll tell you all about it as I continue to work on it!

## Live, Pomodoro-driven Game Development

I’ve been getting in the habit of livestreaming 3-4 hours of Pomodoro work blocks every workday on my [Twitch Channel](https://www.twitch.tv/toomuchtomato?ref=toomuchtomato.com). It’s been really lovely to work in this way, sharing accountability and productivity mindset with a handful of friendly viewers. Check it out sometime! I’m usually on in the mornings, eastern US time. I truly do just shut up for 20 minutes and encourage my audience to work to the rhythms of relaxing jazz music. Then, we hang out for 10 minutes and chat about games, do some playtesting, and maybe even a little Q&A.

## TikTok is fun, but wow

I’ve been having a positive response to the videos I’m sharing of FORKLIFT FLOWERPOT on TikTok. The platform is almost too fun. I’m going to keep posting on there but I need to figure out how to better manage my relationship to the app. I’m constantly finding myself checking in on it or getting lost in the feed. I think with time and effort, I will figure out a healthy balance.

For now, I leave you with an important question - is the FORKLIFT FLOWERPOT 2D or 3D?
