The TORSO TENNIS Demo has gotten it’s first major update: The Shell Update: Play the Demo and Leave a Review on Steam

Switching Game Engines in July

In July I decided to take on the challenge of learning the Godot Engine in one week in order to teach it for a course this summer. Some of the students were bringing chromebooks to the course and Unity does not run in the browser.

It was actually quite fun to learn a new engine, despite what I’ve been saying for a while (not a great use of my development time, etc). This month, I had a good excuse to learn a new engine and I found out that it wasn’t quite as difficult as I imagined. For now, it’s back to Unity. TORSO TENNIS and FORKLIFT FLOWERPOT both use the Unity engine. Right now, Unity is still the better tool for me since I’ve been using it for like… 10 years!

The next four weeks:

I'll be live on Twitch throughout the month of August (usually Weekday mornings around 8am Eastern Time) working on updates to the TORSO TENNIS demo and moving towards a complete version of the game.

As always, join the Discord to leave feedback and stay up to date on development. You can also respond directly to this email if you’d like to get in touch with me.

From the Community

We do a lot of progress sharing on the stream and on discord. I love to see people who join the coworking streams hit major milestones, so here are a few of those:
